YEAR END REFLECTIONS (click for more info...): A year end update and some exciting new features.

A FEW WORDS FROM THE CREATOR:

Over the past 13+ years I have designed and built a great deal of software in my time at Lotus and Microsoft. However, in my two years of working on CellarTracker (initially just as a hobby), I have never seen people have a stronger and more visceral reaction to a piece of software. Of course this stems from the passion that collectors have for wine, but it is clear to me that many people find that CellarTracker can help them to get even more out of wine. I built CellarTracker for myself for this reason, and I am so pleased to literally see thousands of other collectors taking such pleasure in the software. CellarTracker is a great tool that is constantly being improved. I have been using it since November, 2003 and there have been so many good changes since then that I can't list them all. I've tried Parker's Wine Program and my own excel spreadsheet. I now use CellarTracker which I highly recommend. Easy to use and lots of useful ways to view your cellar contents. Tasting notes feature is a real plus. -Randy Dotemoto

Eric, I just have to say that it's a great site. I'm in the process of loading my cellar in and the only thing that drags the time out is adding reviews and ratings. It's very easy to move around within and I just posted my first tasting note from the site, it's a breeze. Great job, thanks.

The new UI looks great. The new navigation interface makes it much easier to see all of the features that are available. Of course, the best part is still all the great functionality underneath. You could put almost any face on it and still have a wonderful product.

I used to use Cellar! and it wasn't a bad program, although I could never get any support if I needed it. Anyway, I switched to cellartracker and it blows the other program away. It's easier to enter the wines, easier to delete them when you drink them, you can sort your list any way you wish, you can print out a "restaurant quality" list, etc. Check it out!

CellarTracker! blows away any of the other software out there. I've tried about every package available, assuming they offer demo versions, and after a few weeks (or days, or even minutes) I would always go back to my old Excel spreadsheet because, quite frankly, it was better. But CT! blows them away - even with the requirement of an internet connection.

I was totally against CellarTracker! because I did not want an online solution. Then I tried it, and it blows away everything (I previously used the Parker software). On top of that, I had the wonderful opportunity to have dinner two nights in a row with Eric, and he is the real deal.
